Badgley first revealed the babies\u2019 existence in a sly Instagram video promoting an upcoming event for his book, Crushmore, which he wrote with his Podcrushed co-hosts, Nava Kavelin and Sophie Ansari. Now that\u2019s a surefire way to get eyeballs on an announcement.<\/p>\n<p class=\"clay-paragraph\" data-editable=\"text\" data-uri=\"www.thecut.com\/_components\/clay-paragraph\/instances\/cmf608sht000c3b78hq2x1seu@published\" data-word-count=\"88\">In the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DOKAST9EREU\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">video<\/a>, Badgley says, \u201cI\u2019m interrupting my paternity leave, which I\u2019m on by the way, which is also why I\u2019m whispering here,\u201d before showing one of his sons\u2019 little baby feet. Kirke, a doula and sister of actresses Jemima and Lola, made her own announcement of the twins\u2019 arrival on Instagram shortly after. She posted a selfie with the tops of their heads, captioning the photo, \u201c\u2026 and then there were four \ud83d\ude36\u200d\ud83c\udf2b\ufe0f\ud83e\udd2a\ud83e\udd2f\ud83e\udd70.\u201d The new additions join the couple\u2019s 4-year-old son, James, and Kirke\u2019s 16-year-old son, Cassius.<\/p>\n<p class=\"clay-paragraph\" data-editable=\"text\" data-uri=\"www.thecut.com\/_components\/clay-paragraph\/instances\/cmf6000da001j3b78ofdmkg95@published\" data-word-count=\"39\">Kirke and Badgley have been married since 2017. The pair had two weddings that year \u2014 the first at a courthouse in Brooklyn, the second in an outdoor ceremony in upstate New York.
