WA Football has announced the 17 finalists of its Volunteer of the Year award from more than 2200 nominations.<\/p>\n
The finalists are also in the running for the AFL\u2019s national volunteer of the year awards.<\/p>\n
The award recognises the dedication and tireless efforts of football volunteers from club presidents to registrars, coaches to trainers.<\/p>\n
The 2025 WA Football Volunteer of the Year will be announced at the WAFL Grand Final on Sunday, September 21.<\/p>\n
The finalists are: Claremont district – Ryan Lloyd, North Beach JFC; East Fremantle \u2013 Nikki Hevron, East Fremantle JFC; East Perth – Michael Bassett, Ballajura JFC; Goldfields – Kara Murphy, Newton-Condingup FC; Great Southern \u2013 Brad Harvey, Railways FC; Kimberley – Tim Brooker, West Kimberley JFL; Midlands \u2013 Greg Jones, York FC; Midwest – Grant Russell, Railway FC; Peel \u2013 Darren Birch, Waroona JFC; Perth \u2013 Michelle Kinsman, Vic Park JFC; Pilbara – Roxie Kleine-Deters, Newman JFC; South Fremantle \u2013 Samantha Saffioti, Roleystone JFC; South West \u2013 Natalie Fimmano, Harvey FC; Subiaco \u2013 Paul Valentino, Carine JFC; Swan Districts \u2013 Anthony Jerkovich, Bassendean JFC; West Perth – Danielle Borrie, Wanneroo JFC; Wheatbelt – Kenny Quartermaine, Katanning FC.<\/p>\n
WA Football club development and volunteer specialist Jenn\u00e9 Emberson said the nominees had all made invaluable contributions to football.<\/p>\n
