Consider this: since the US Open in 2022, Alcaraz has won six Grand Slam titles out of thirteen possible. And when you factor in that he missed the 2023 Australian Open due to injury, he\u2019s effectively won half of the majors he\u2019s competed in during that stretch.<\/p>\n

Just nine months before his 23rd birthday, Alcaraz has become the first player in history \u2013 since the introduction of hard courts in the Grand Slam calendar \u2013 to win six majors across all three surfaces with two on each of them before turning 23: two each on hard, clay, and grass.<\/p>\n

Only three other players have managed that feat at any age: Mats Wilander (1988), Rafael Nadal (2010), and Novak Djokovic (2012).<\/p>\n

In terms of total major wins before age 23, only one player is ahead of him: Bj\u00f6rn Borg, who had claimed 7 Grand Slam titles (on his futur total of 11) by that age \u2013 6 on clay and 1 on grass. Nadal also had 6 majors before turning 23, but not across three surfaces.<\/p>\n
