Bulldogs fullback Andie Robinson has been crowned the Club\u2019s inaugural NRLW Player of the Year following a momentous season.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Co-Captains Tayla Preston (Members NRLW Player of the Year) and Angelina Teakaraanga-Katoa (NRLW Coaches Award) also took home awards after leading the fledgling side throughout the season.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Five-Eighth Ash Quinlan was awarded by her peers as the NRLW Players\u2019 Player of the Year, while strike centre Moana Courtenay took home the NRLW Rookie of the Year award in her first season in the 13-player code.\u00a0<\/p>\n

2025 NRLW Player of the Year: Andie Robinson\u00a0<\/p>\n

Andie Robinson has capped off a whirlwind return to the field by taking out the NRLW Player of the Year gong.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Coming off a serious knee injury that sidelined her for the entire 2024 season, Robinson made an almighty comeback after arriving at the Club and staking claim to the no.1 jersey.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The fleet-footed fullback averaged 70 minutes of football across the season, featuring in every single match for the Bulldogs, recording two tries, three try assists, 30 tackle breaks and six linebreaks while averaging a phenomenal 144 metres per game.<\/p>\n

Impressively, Robinson also currently sits in fourth place across the NRLW for total kick return metres.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old also heavily contributed to the side\u2019s historic inaugural match against Newcastle, providing Moana Courtenay with the Club\u2019s very-first try in the NRLW.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“It’s very surreal, but I’m very honoured to receive this award,” Robinson said.<\/p>\n

“I really didn’t expect to get this tonight, but it’s been a great year. I couldn’t have done this without the support of the coaching staff and my teammates thoughout the season.”<\/p>\n

Robinson Scores Her First in Blue and White<\/p>\n

2025 Carroll & O\u2019Dea Members NRLW Player of the Year: Tayla Preston\u00a0<\/p>\n

Bulldogs Members have voted for Tayla Preston as their inaugural NRLW Player of the Year.<\/p>\n

Named Co-Captain of the side earlier in the year, Preston continued her rise in the NRL, taking the reins of the side with her exceptional kicking game and leadership qualities.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Currently, Preston leads the NRLW in both kick metres (3370) and 40\/30s (two), with her prowess with the boot forcing numerous errors and nine line drop outs.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The sharpshooter no.7 proved to be a fan favourite across the season, guiding the side to two opening victories, before sealing the side’s third win in Round 10 against finals-bound Cronulla with the match-winning try – her first in Blue and White.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“I love this Club so much and it’s a massive honour to be recognised by the Members tonight,” Preston said.<\/p>\n

“Without them and their support we wouldn’t be here. I’m super grateful for them and we love seeing them in the stands each and every game cheering us on.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

2025 NRLW Players\u2019 Player of the Year: Ashleigh Quinlan\u00a0<\/p>\n

The NRLW players have voted Ashleigh Quinlan as their Players\u2019 Player for 2025.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The veteran five-eighth proved to be one of the apexes in attack for the Bulldogs throughout the Club\u2019s inaugural season, while proving to be an imperative pillar of leadership throughout the season.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Off the field, Quinlan proved to be just as influential, guiding the fledgling squad in their transition into the professional environment.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

In her fourth season in the NRLW, the Kiwi Ferns representative has so far scored three tries \u2013 including a double in the side\u2019s inaugural match, while setting up a further seven.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

“It feels really special to take home this award,” Quinlan said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“I’m shocked but happy and really grateful to receive this prestigious award. I just want to thank all the staff and players for this year, I wouldn’t be here without them.”<\/p>\n

2025 NRLW Coaches Award: Angelina Teakaraanga-Katoa\u00a0<\/p>\n

Angelina Teakaraanga-Katoa has taken home the 2025 NRLW Coaches Award.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Named as the Club\u2019s inaugural Co-Captain alongside Tayla Preston, the Milperra Colts junior continually led from the front with her barnstorming runs and punishing defence.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The powerhouse forward was a consistent presence throughout the season, missing just one match, averaging a blockbusting 156 running metres, and making 301 tackles at an impressive 92.6% efficiency.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

A Kiwi Ferns representative, Teakaraanga-Katoa juggled responsibilities on the field, moving between the front row and lock and created history of her own by scoring her first try in the NRLW in the Round 1 victory over Newcastle.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Honestly this is such a big honour,” Teakaraanga-Katoa explained.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“There’s such a high calibre of talent across our squad, so to receive this from Brayden and his staff is very humbling.<\/p>\n

“I feel really honoured.”<\/p>\n

2025 NRLW Rookie of the Year: Moana Courtenay<\/p>\n

Centre Moana Courtenay has claimed the 2025 NRLW Rookie of the Year Award.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

In her first season playing Rugby League, Courtenay, a rugby union convert from New Zealand, showed her prowess in the 13-player code with a first season to remember in the Blue and White.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

A strike centre, Courtenay has featured in all but one match for the season, proving to be a threat in attack – scoring three tries and running for an average 77 metres \u2013 while also being a threat in defence with crunching hits and a 86.8% tackle efficiency.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old created history in the side\u2019s inaugural match on July 4, becoming the very first Bulldog to score a try in the NRLW with her touchdown in the 29th minute. Courtenay doubled down soon after, bagging a memorable second try in the 26-12 victory.<\/p>\n
