Rep. Anna Paulina Luna and Harvard Scientist Avi Loeb are calling for NASA to monitor the Manhattan-sized interstellar object 3I\/ATLAS as it passes the sun on Halloween Eve to ensure it does not drop off \u201cmini probes\u201d that could invade Earth.<\/p>\n
Luna (R-Fla.) and the Ivy league astrophysicist appeared together on a podcast and called for both the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter and Jupiter\u2019s Juno probe to adjust their current courses and monitor the object that NASA has deemed a comet.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf we are visited by a technological object like 3I\/ATLAS \u2014 it could either visit us or release some mini-probes that arrive to Earth and appear as UAP,\u201d Loeb told \u201cThe Sol Foundation\u201d podcast, released Friday, referring to the technical term for UFOs.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd we need to be aware of that possibility.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI asked the research team to monitor the sky after October when 3I\/ATLAS comes close to the Sun just to check if there is any additional activity in the atmosphere of the Earth as a result of it releasing, maybe, mini-probes.\u201d<\/p>\n
Luna, the chairwoman of the House Declassification Task Force, has previously urged NASA to exert the Uno orbital spacecraft, currently outside of Jupiter, to \u201cseize the opportunity\u201d and monitor nearby the pathway of 3I\/ATLAS.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn the event that there is life, is it not our obligation to inform the public on that?\u201d Luna asked rhetorically on the podcast.<\/p>\n
Luna further teased major revelations to come from Tuesday\u2019s hearing on UAPs \u2014 commonly known as UFOs.<\/p>\n
She stated that the hearing will begin to address the claims of non-human and \u201cinterdimensional\u201d technology.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re actually going to be going to basically the president to ask if we can get the access to programs that may exist within these different agencies,\u201d Luna revealed.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere\u2019s actually a large number of sightings in our area specifically,\u201d she said, referring to the Sunshine State\u2019s 13th Congressional District.<\/p>\n
When asked if 3I\/ATLAS could be the product of a non-human intelligence, Loeb pointed out that human beings are creating their own non-human intelligence which will eventually have capabilities beyond our own, namely, Artificial Intelligence.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are creating a form of intelligence that is superseding our cognitive abilities simply because it will have more parameters in the neural network we create,\u201d Loeb said of AI, adding, \u201cIt\u2019s like giving birth to a child that is much smarter than you are.\u201d<\/p>\n
Loeb called out the scientific community for resisting \u201can agnostic study\u201d of these strange objects, likening the urge to describe 3I\/ATLAS as comet to \u201ccalling an elephant a \u2018zebra without stripes.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
3I\/ATLAS will pass closest to the sun on Oct. 30 and then will proceed in retrograde from Earth towards Jupiter, which it will pass by on March 16, according to NASA.<\/p>\n
