GIVEN the livery reveal window is open for Supercars teams ahead of the Ryco Enduro Cup, V8 Sleuth has taken the opportunity to dream up a wish list of special one-off designs we\u2019d love to see before the season is out.<\/p>\n

Dick Johnson Racing has already committed to its second shake-up of the year<\/a> at The Bend in a nod to OTR, and PremiAir Racing is unveiling its latest enduro wrap tomorrow<\/a>.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s plenty more opportunity beyond that for teams to overhaul their looks in the coming months\u2026<\/p>\n

1) Triple Eight\/Craig Lowndes<\/a> farewell \u2013 Bathurst<\/p>\n

It\u2019s bound to be an emotional occasion when Craig Lowndes lines up for the final race of his 21-year partnership with Triple Eight.<\/p>\n

The 2025 Repco Bathurst 1000 will also happen to be Triple Eight\u2019s 300th Supercars Championship round.<\/p>\n

Both would be fitting reasons to motivate a fresh livery for the Mountain \u2013 admittedly some creativity might be required though if they were to blend Supercheap Auto backing into a Betta Electrical flashback, for example.<\/p>\n

2) Will Davison<\/a>\u2019s 600th \u2013 Sandown<\/p>\n

DJR has already been in the mood to change things up in 2025, and this would be an opportune moment to do so again.<\/p>\n

Davison is due to become the fifth member of Supercars\u2019 600 club on the Saturday of the Sandown semi-finals.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s also significant given this year marks the 60th anniversary of his grandfather Lex being killed in a crash at Sandown, and the 30th anniversary of DJR\u2019s last win in the Sandown 500.<\/p>\n

3) Triple Eight\/General Motors swansong \u2013 Adelaide<\/p>\n

Triple Eight farewelled Holden from Supercars at the 2022 Adelaide 500 with a clean white base livery, and this year\u2019s finale offers another chance to close out another successful chapter with a memorable design.<\/p>\n

For this will be the end of the road for Triple Eight and General Motors\u2019 16-year association that has thus far netted seven Bathurst 1000 wins, nine drivers\u2019 championships and nine teams\u2019 titles.<\/p>\n

Then it\u2019s back to Ford for 2026.<\/p>\n

4) James Courtney<\/a>\u2019s last hurrah \u2013 Adelaide<\/p>\n

It\u2019s fitting that a champion of the sport will hang up the helmet (as a full-timer, if not more) at a circuit he\u2019s somewhat synonymous with.<\/p>\n

\u2018JC\u2019 won in Adelaide in back-to-back-to-back years for the Holden Racing Team and has totalled 12 top three finishes there.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s where he broke through for his maiden main game pole position and where he took his most recent \u2013 and most stunning \u2013 victory, holding off Jamie Whincup<\/a> in breathtaking fashion.<\/p>\n

As a personality and a racer, Courtney will be hard to replace and deserves a mega send-off.<\/p>\n

Oh, and the Sunday race in Adelaide is due to be the Blanchard Racing Team\u2019s 150th.<\/p>\n

5) Tickford Racing\u2019s 700th race \u2013 Adelaide<\/p>\n

Tickford has redecorated before in the city of churches, unveiling an epic Ken Block tribute livery for Cam Waters two years ago.<\/p>\n

The Campbellfield squad will of course hope to be celebrating the biggest prize of all by the end of the grand final.<\/p>\n
