The Penrith Panthers<\/a> have confirmed thirteen players will depart the club at season’s end, with the announcement made during the annual awards night.<\/p>\n

In a video<\/a> tribute, the club acknowledged the players and thanked them for their service.<\/p>\n

Mavrik Geyer<\/a> (Wests Tigers<\/a>), Asu Kepaoa<\/a> (Newcastle Knights<\/a>), Zac Lipowicz<\/a> (Catalans Dragons<\/a>) and Brad Schneider<\/a> (Dolphins<\/a>) have already secured contracts elsewhere for 2026.<\/p>\n

Daine Laurie<\/a>, Soni Luke<\/a>, Luke Sommerton<\/a>, Riley Price<\/a>, Preston Riki<\/a> and Harrison Hassett<\/a> remain off contract and will now seek new opportunities.<\/p>\n

Laurie is the most high-profile departure, having rejoined Penrith last season after three years with Wests Tigers<\/a>. He recently said he is \u201copen to anything\u201d as he searches for a new deal in 2026.<\/p>\n

Hookers Luke and Sommerton are also in the market, with Sommerton set to feature in this week’s sudden-death final against the New Zealand Warriors<\/a>, replacing the injured<\/a> Mitch Kenny<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Forwards Price, Riki and Hassett have found limited first-grade opportunities at Penrith and will also move on in search of greater game time.<\/p>\n

The Panthers also confirmed that John Sagaga<\/a>, Zack Lamont<\/a> and Austin Dias<\/a> will not be part of the extended squad moving forward.<\/p>\n
