There were four division one winners in the draw, but when the final unregistered ticketholders failed to come forward last week, Powerball staff had to wait for them to check their ticket and come forward.<\/p>\n

We had no idea, and this whole time the ticket was just sitting on our fridge.\u201d<\/p>\n The couple said that winning the large sum was \u201cinsane\u201d and that they were \u201cin shock\u201d.<\/p>\n Despite the pair purchasing a QuickPick ticket, they said the winning numbers contained some of their lucky numbers, as well as family birthday and anniversaries.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was meant to be,\u201d they said.<\/p>\n The lucky grandparents said they were planning on looking after their children and grandchildren with the prize money, as well as planning to buy a \u201clittle house\u201d for themselves.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019ve worked really hard all our lives. We\u2019ll look after our children and grandchildren, and we\u2019ll be able to buy a little house,\u201d they said.<\/p>\n \u201cWe have bought tickets on and off for years. (We) can\u2019t believe it.\u201d<\/p>\n The pair said they\u2019ve had a \u201cradical change of plans for the day\u201d and were unsure if they will keep on working or if they would use the money to retire.<\/p>\n \u201cIt will take a long time for this to sink in,\u201d they said.<\/p>\n The winning entry was purchased from East Brighton News agency, with owner Sajjad Sadeghi Goorbandi saying he was over the moon to sell a division one winning ticket.<\/p>\n \u201cI can\u2019t believe it.
