\n\tRosie O\u2019Donnell revealed on a recent episode of the \u201cNo Filter\u201d podcast (via Entertainment Weekly<\/a>) that she was forced to miss her daughter\u2019s college graduation due to security concerns regarding her potential return to the United States amid an ongoing feud with Donald Trump<\/a>. The television icon moved to Ireland after Trump was re-elected president last November. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cMy daughter graduated college and I didn\u2019t go back because the security people said to me they didn\u2019t think it was wise,\u201d O\u2019Donnell said. \u201cBecause I think Trump will use me to rile his base.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tO\u2019Donnell and Trump\u2019s infamous feud<\/a> has been revived in recent months. Trump posted on Truth Social in July that he was going to revoke O\u2019Donnell\u2019s citizenship even though he does not have the authority to do so.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cBecause of the fact that Rosie O\u2019Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship,\u201d Trump posted at the time. \u201cShe is a Threat to Humanity, and should remain in the wonderful Country of Ireland, if they want her.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tO\u2019Donnell said during the new podcast interview: \u201c[Trump\u2019s] ability to denigrate people and dismiss them and humiliate them encouraged other people to do the same.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSpeaking to Variety earlier this year,<\/a> O\u2019Donnell said she currently has no plans to move back to the United States. She explained: \u201cWith the current political climate, when would it be safe to come back with my child? I\u2019m not going to push it before this administration is completely finished, and hopefully held accountable for their crimes.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tO\u2019Donnell frequently speaks out against Trump. In a TikTok post<\/a> over the summer, she expressed concern that Trump would find a way to get \u201cThe View\u201d canceled since its current hosts, including Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar, do not align with Trump\u2019s views. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe show with five women speaking their own opinions. That\u2019s the threat now,\u201d O\u2019Donnell said at the time. \u201cBecause it\u2019s not enough to run the country into the ground. You have to control what people see. What they hear. What they think. And \u2018The View\u2019? Well, that\u2019s a little too much woman \u2014 a little too much truth \u2014 a little too much Joy Behar saying \u2018I don\u2019t think the insurrection was a tourist visit, Karen.\u2019 Apparently, the truth is dangerous now.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tO\u2019Donnell\u2019s statement, and her decision to cite Joy Behar, clearly hit a nerve with Trump\u2019s White House. Spokesperson Taylor Rogers railed against both women when asked for comment by\u00a0Variety\u00a0about O\u2019Donnell\u2019s TikTok post, writing: \u201cRosie O\u2019Donnell and \u2018Joyless\u2019 Behar are irrelevant losers with too much time on their hands, whining about a failing talk show while everyday Americans are working hard. Our country is better off with Rosie living abroad \u2014 and we can all hope \u2018Joyless\u2019 Behar will join her next!\u201d<\/p>\n
