Hoda Kotb<\/a> might be Jenna Bush Hager<\/a>\u2019s biggest fan, but that doesn\u2019t mean she\u2019s up early watching Today with Jenna & Friends.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n The 61-year-old former Today co-anchor stopped by the show on Tuesday, Sept. 9, where she reunited with her pals and former co-workers, updating them on her life after leaving the NBC morning show in January.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s just a different life. But it\u2019s funny how easily you can find yourself starting something new,\u201d Kotb shared. \u201cI mean, I miss you guys like crazy. I miss everybody. Being here made my heart hurt a little bit.\u201d\n<\/p>\n Hoda Kotb returns to the ‘Today’ show on Sept. 9, 2025.<\/p>\n NBC<\/p>\n Kotb\u2019s former Today with Hoda & Jenna co-host, Bush Hager, quipped, \u201cWell, you can always come back!\u201d\n<\/p>\n \u201cJenna\u2019s still searching for friends!\u201d Savannah Guthrie<\/a> joked of the Today with Jenna & Friends co-host.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Kotb then asked Bush Hager how her show was going, adding, \u201cYou look really, it\u2019s been going really really well.\u201d\n<\/p>\n \u201cThank you. You pretend you\u2019ve been watching,\u201d Bush Hager teased.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t, I don\u2019t. But I hear it\u2019s amazing!\u201d Kotb said as the rest of her former co-workers laughed. \u201cBut you guys have been doing so, so well. It\u2019s been fun to watch.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Kotb was excited to return to the Today Show Plaza on Tuesday, surprising the morning team by jumping up and down and holding a sign that read \u201cToday Bucket List\u201d with a check mark.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n She also shared an update on her two daughters, Haley Joy<\/a>, 8, and Hope Catherine<\/a>, 6, after she left the show to spend more time with them.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
