{"id":131494,"date":"2025-09-10T00:31:10","date_gmt":"2025-09-10T00:31:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/131494\/"},"modified":"2025-09-10T00:31:10","modified_gmt":"2025-09-10T00:31:10","slug":"ed-sheeran-says-he-is-moving-to-the-u-s","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/131494\/","title":{"rendered":"Ed Sheeran says he is moving to the U.S."},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"anchor-52b2fe\" class=\"body-graf\">Ed Sheeran says he is moving stateside. <\/p>\n<p id=\"anchor-c7ba60\" class=\"body-graf\">The English pop singer broke the news that he is moving to the U.S. on &#8220;The 2 Johnnies Podcast&#8221; on Sunday. <\/p>\n<p id=\"anchor-e6ba97\" class=\"body-graf\">Sheeran joked that &#8220;I might be the only person moving to America&#8221; right now, perhaps referring to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/donald-trump\/trump-jeffrey-epstein-birthday-book-rcna229803\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">tense political climate in the U.S.<\/a> and ongoing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/national-security\/trump-administration-ice-scraps-paperwork-officers-immigration-arrests-rcna229407\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids<\/a> across the country. <\/p>\n<p id=\"anchor-52bbc6\" class=\"body-graf\">The &#8220;Perfect&#8221; singer said he made the decision to move across the pond because he is going on tour in the U.S. for a while, and that he can&#8217;t &#8220;dip in and out&#8221; of his family, so he and his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.today.com\/parents\/babies\/ed-sheeran-reveals-second-daughters-name-rcna76057\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">wife and two daughters<\/a> are going to settle in the States. <\/p>\n<p id=\"anchor-46daa9\" class=\"body-graf\">It is unclear when Sheeran will be touring in the U.S., as his website does not list any upcoming tour dates in the country, except for a performance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas on September 20. <\/p>\n<p id=\"anchor-0e119f\" class=\"endmark body-graf\"> Sheeran&#8217;s new album, &#8220;Play,&#8221; releases on Sept. 12, and may likely serve as the backbone for an upcoming tour.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Ed Sheeran says he is moving stateside.
