Aryna Sabalenka is the toast of tennis when it comes to the women\u2019s game, and she maintains her position as the world\u2019s best player after the US Open. <\/p>\n

Sabalenka beat Amanda Anisimova<\/a> in straight sets to lift the crown for a second time and regain the title she won last year at Flushing Meadows. <\/p>\n

Sabalenka collected a cool $5 million<\/a> for her win over Anisimova, but it will be the fact she\u2019s still sitting pretty on top of the WTA rankings that will please her the most. <\/p>\n

Pundit Todd Woodbridge has predicted how many majors Sabalenka will win<\/a> in her career, and given her form in 2025, there will be a few more to come yet. <\/p>\n

Sabalenka worked hard going into the US Open, and to bounce back from losing finals at the French Open<\/a> and the Australian Open<\/a> highlights what an elite performer she is. <\/p>\n

Billie Jean King<\/a> is seemingly a huge fan of Sabalenka\u2019s, and she\u2019s now been speaking to the newly crowned US Open champion. <\/p>\n

Sabalenka has been performing media duties since winning the US Open final, and she\u2019s appeared on the Welcome to the Party podcast alongside the legendary player. <\/p>\n

Two months ago at Wimbledon, King praised an opponent of Sabalenka\u2019s<\/a> for her game plan during a match, but now she\u2019s had time to deliver some praise on the Belarusian player.<\/p>\n

She said on the podcast: \u201cWhat I love about you is that when you come out to play, you bring all of yourself. <\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, every particle of your being you bring. I would like to know how you get ready every time and every day for that, for every match?\u201d<\/p>\n

Sabalenka responded saying: \u201d\u00a0I just love what I do, and I think when you love your job, you bring everything that you have. <\/p>\n

\u201cYou are there, you are competing. You are just being you. I think that\u2019s why. I think it\u2019s important to be yourself and bring everything that you have on the court to be successful in your job.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sabalenka will now focus on WTA Finals<\/p>\n

For all of the players, there will now be a little period of rest, but Sabalenka will soon flick her focus to the remaining tournaments this year and in particular, the WTA Finals<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Sabalenka has never tasted success at the tournament, and after reaching the final once previously in 2022, it will surely be on her to-do list before 2025 wraps up. <\/p>\n

The 27-year-old is very much the in-form player after reaching three of the four Grand Slam finals it now looks very likely she\u2019s approaching her peak. <\/p>\n
