\n\tLate night fans rejoice: \u201cLate Night with David Letterman<\/a>\u201d is returning back to television for a new one-of-a-kind channel.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tLetterman TV, a 24\/7 TV channel available only on Samsung TV Plus, will begin to air over 1,800 episodes of NBC\u2019s \u201cLate Night with David Letterman<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSince debuting in 2024, Letterman TV has become the hub for the archive of Letterman\u2019s storied late-night career. He started out as the host of NBC\u2019s \u201cLate Night\u201d in 1982 for a 10 year run. In 1993, he made headlines by moving to CBS, bringing the Eye network into the late-night talk-variety for the first time in a substantial way. He retired in 2015. Letterman TV previous offered only episodes from the host\u2019s CBS days. Letterman owns outright the episodes from his CBS years, while NBC still owns the negatives on \u201cLate Night With David Letterman.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI can\u2019t begin to express how happy I am to be on Samsung TVs. Plus listen to this, stay in your seats, the ride is not over \u2014 the Letterman TV channel now includes \u2018Late Night,\u2019 \u201d the host said in a statement. \u201cAll the fun of NBC and me 40 years ago. Are you kidding!? The Golden Age of television!!! All thanks to my old friends (cough) at NBC joining my new Samsung TV Plus friends. Prayers answered. Now more reason to stay home and watch TV. Thanks for believing in me, America!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tLetterman TV will play special episodes including Letterman\u2019s inaugural \u201cLate Night\u201d show, with Bill Murray as the first guest. The channel will have his one-year anniversary episode, and special-themed episodes \u201cCamping with Barry White\u201d and \u201cHumidifier vs. Dehumidifier.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tThe channel will include \u201cBest of\u201d packages from \u201cLate Night\u201d with special guests Steve Martin, Pee-wee Herman and Andy Kaufman. Additional episodes and clips from the series will be added to the channel.<\/p>\n
