Developer Visual Concepts has released another patch for NBA 2K26<\/a>, which is the game\u2019s third update since it launched. Same as with the previous updates, there are no gameplay changes made with the September 11 patch, as the developers are still monitoring games across various modes before deciding on making significant changes.<\/p>\n

This patch is developer version 1.3, with console gamers seeing it as NBA 2K26 update 1.005 (complete version 01.005.000), and sadly, most NBA 2K patches are big downloads even if they don\u2019t house new content.<\/p>\n

NBA 2K26\u2019s New Update on Sept. 11 Addresses Reported Issues via Patch 1.005\/v1.3<\/p>\n

THE CITY \/ PARK \/ PRO-AM \/ REC \/ THEATER<\/p>\n

Fixed a reported game disconnect that was occurring for some users in Park, Theater, REC, and Proving Grounds games
\nCap Breakers and Max +1\/+2 Badge Perks will now be correctly retained when leaving a Crew, and they will be restored to players who previously lost them in this situation
\nVarious fixes and improvements have been made to Challenges to ensure proper tracking and completion, particularly in relation to those that carry across saves
\nGames played in the Gatorade Training Facility will now count towards Daily Challenge progress
\nLong camera cuts that could potentially block active gameplay on possession changes in Pro-Am games have been removed
\nUnqualified Takeover Abilities can no longer be activated in online games where Takeover Presets can be set
\nConditions for progressing the Up For The Challenge Performance Multiplier have been made easier
\nFixed an errant \u201cEvent has ended\u201d message that appeared when entering The Theater under certain conditions
\nResolved a rare hang that could occur when inviting players to your MyCOURT<\/p>\n

MyCAREER<\/p>\n

Fixed an issue preventing certain quests from progressing when the objective required visiting your MyCOURT
\nResolved a rare hang that could occur when entering the NBA arena
\nFixed a reported issue that could prevent Rebirth from being unlocked as expected<\/p>\n

PC (ADDITIONAL UPDATES)<\/p>\n

Addressed an issue causing incorrect keyboard button prompts to appear when attempting alley-oops in online games
\nCustom shoes will now properly appear in the closet when owned<\/p>\n

So far, the known issues that have surfaced recently have all been squashed by Visual Concepts, which is nice to see. Let\u2019s hope this support continues well into the game\u2019s lifecycle, and we don\u2019t receive mystery updates without proper changelogs, as in past versions of the basketball sim.<\/p>\n
