Journeyman halfback Matt Frawley<\/a> has announced his retirement from professional rugby league at the age of 30, drawing the curtain on a career that spanned both hemispheres and saw him serve as a reliable playmaker wherever he went.<\/p>\n

Frawley made his NRL debut with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, featuring in 31 matches between 2017 and 2018. Known for his steady kicking game and organisational skills, he quickly established himself as a dependable squad member.<\/p>\n

In 2019, Frawley crossed to England to join the Huddersfield Giants, where he played 22 games in the Super League. The stint gave him valuable experience as a starting half and broadened his reputation as a composed game manager.<\/p>\n

Frawley returned to Australia in 2020, signing with the Canberra Raiders. Used primarily as a backup for Jamal Fogarty<\/a> and other first-choice halves, he made 22 appearances across four seasons (2020\u20132023).
