\n\tJon Cryer<\/a> reveals in Netflix\u2019s \u201caka Charlie Sheen\u201d<\/a> that his \u201cTwo and a Half Men<\/a>\u201d payday was \u201ca third\u201d of co-star Charlie Sheen<\/a>\u2018s despite the latter\u2019s erratic behavior that threatened the show\u2019s survival and ultimately got Sheen fired after Season 8, the filming of which had already been delayed after Sheen entered drug rehabilitation and disparaged show creator Chuck Lorre.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHe\u2019s in the midst of falling apart in every way that I can imagine, and he\u2019s renegotiating his contract for another year of a show that I\u2019m supposed to be on too,\u201d Cryer says in the documentary (via Entertainment Weekly<\/a>).<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe dictator of North Korea was a guy named Kim Jong-Il. He acted crazy all the time and thus got enormous amounts of aid from countries who were so scared of him that they would shovel money at him,\u201d Cryer explained.. \u201cWell, that\u2019s what happened here. [Sheen\u2019s] negotiations went off the charts because his life was falling apart. Me, whose life was pretty good at that time, I got a third of that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tCryer continued with \u201cTwo and a Half\u201d men through its 12th and final season. In the documentary, Cryer says that CBS was more or less forced to \u201cspend this astonishing amount of money on Charlie\u201d because it had already \u201cpre-sold a couple extra seasons of the show\u201d before Sheen\u2019s public breakdown. A 2011 report <\/a>in Forbes magazine claimed Sheen was making $1.9 million\u00a0on each \u201cTwo and a Half Men\u201d episode.<\/p>\n

\n\tElsewhere in \u201caka Charlie Sheen,\u201d<\/a> Cryer expressed his hesitation in even participating in the two-part Netflix series. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI worked with Charlie Sheen for eight years,\u201d Cryer says. \u201cAnd if you wonder what it\u2019s like to work with Charlie Sheen for eight years, when I started, I had hair. I had some trepidation about participating in this, partially because part of the cycle of Charlie Sheen\u2019s life has been that he messes up terribly, he hits rock bottom, and then he gets things he gets things going again. And he brings a lot of positivity in his life, and that\u2019s when he burns himself out again. He just can\u2019t help but set that house on fire, and I didn\u2019t want to be a part of that cycle. I\u2019m not here to build him up and I\u2019m not here to tear him down. But I sure hope this doesn\u2019t go bad.\u201d<\/p>\n
