The official website for the television anime<\/a> of Hiromu<\/a> and raemz<\/a>‘s Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle<\/a> (Chitose-kun wa Ramune Bin no Naka<\/a>) light novel series revealed the show’s main promotional video alongside more cast members and the theme song information on Saturday. The website also revealed that the anime will air for two cours<\/a> (quarters of a year) with a break in between.<\/p>\n

The anime will debut on October 7 on AT-X<\/a>, Tokyo MX<\/a>, KBS Kyoto<\/a>, Sun TV<\/a>, Fukui Broadcasting, TV Aichi<\/a>, and BS11<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Kucci<\/a> will perform the opening theme song “Liar,” and Cider Girl<\/a> will perform the ending theme song “Kager\u014d” (Heat Haze). The above video previews both songs.<\/p>\n

Additional cast members include Y\u014dhei Azakami<\/a> as Kuranosuke Iwanami and Masaya Miyazaki<\/a> as Kenta Yamazaki<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The anime will star:\n<\/p>\n

Y\u016bji Tokuno<\/a> (Kiratto Pri\u2606Chan<\/a>, Pretty Boy Detective Club<\/a>) is directing the series at feel.<\/a>, and Naruhisa Arakawa<\/a> (Kingdom<\/a>, Elemental Gelade<\/a>) is supervising the series scripts and co-writing them with original author Hiromu. Sumie Kinoshita<\/a> (Forest of Piano<\/a>, Idoly Pride<\/a>) is designing the characters.<\/p>\n

The staff describe the story:\n<\/p>\n

\tChitose Saku attends Fujishi High School, the best preparatory school in the prefecture.
\n\tHis studies, athletics and communication skills are all at a high level, and he attracts
\n\tattention, for better or worse.
\n\tHe is the envy of everyone, and his friends are all very popular as well.
\n\tIn the spring of his second year, in a new class.
\n\tSaku is asked to convince a withdrawn student to return to school.
\n\tSet in Fukui prefecture, an emotional coming-of-age story begins!<\/p>\n

Hiromu and raemz debuted the original light novel series in June 2019, and the ninth novel volume shipped in August 2024. Yen Press<\/a> is releasing<\/a> the light novels and manga in North America. Manga UP! Global<\/a> also publishes<\/a> the manga in English digitally. <\/p>\n

Bobcat<\/a> launched<\/a> the manga adaptation of the novels on Square Enix<\/a>‘s Manga UP!<\/a> website in April 2020, and Square Enix published the manga’s eighth and final compiled book volume on March 7.<\/p>\n
