The Canadian women’s 3×3 basketball team won a record\u00a0third FIBA Women’s Series Final on Sunday in Shanghai.<\/p>\n

The team consisting of Paige Crozon,\u00a0Katherine Plouffe, Saicha Grant-Allen and Cassandra Brown defeated\u00a0Azerbaijan 21-12 to claim the 2025 title.<\/p>\n

Crozon led the way with a game-high nine points, going three-for-three from two-point range.<\/p>\n

Brown scored\u00a0six including the game winner, while Plouffe\u00a0had a game-high five rebounds to go with three points.<\/p>\n

Canada wreaked havoc from two-point range to take\u00a0an early\u00a010-2 lead and overcame strong performances from\u00a0Alexandra Mollenhauer\u00a0and\u00a0Brianna Fraser to seal the victory.<\/p>\n

The Canadians won two of their\u00a0three pool games to directly qualify for the semifinals, which saw them beat Spain 21-11.<\/p>\n
