The first coach of Erxhan Osman, Turkey’s star at Eurobasket 2025, Ramush Rushiti spoke on “Favorit” and provided some details about Osman’s start in the sport of basketball.<\/p>\n

Rushiti said that since his first meeting with Osmani, he sensed his success, and says he told him that he would make it to the NBA.<\/p>\n

“From the age of 13 he was in Prizren, he studied at the German school, for two years he was in our club. When I saw his physique, a little jokingly, I said that he had the predispositions to be an NBA player. We all hoped for the best, but we did not expect this success of his. We all have a hand in his growth, even from the Kosovo Basketball Federation,” Rushiti initially said in “Favorit”.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, he also spoke about the issue of payment, whether it was ever paid in Kosovo.<\/p>\n

“He hasn’t paid anything, and neither have we. The biggest payment we could make to him is to give him his first steps in basketball,” he added.<\/p>\n

Rushiti says he no longer has contact with Erxhan Osmani, but says it’s not his fault, but someone else’s.<\/p>\n

“We have not contacted Erxhan since 2017, not through his fault, because he is a very good basketball player and above all a ducat guy, I know who the culprit is, but it has nothing to do with it,” he concluded.<\/p>\n
