\u201cThe Studio\u201d<\/a> won best comedy series at the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards<\/a> on Sunday night, breaking an Emmys record, as \u201cAdolescence\u201d and \u201cThe Pitt\u201d took the night\u2019s other top prizes. <\/p>\n

But the night\u2019s most popular winner<\/a> was likely Stephen Colbert. He received a prolonged and rousing standing ovation<\/a> for his talk series win, which comes after CBS announced it is canceling \u201cThe Late Show With Stephen Colbert.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Studio\u201d triumphs: Seth Rogen\u2019s Apple TV+ series set a record for the most wins by a comedy series in a single season<\/a>, and finished the night by nabbing the top award. \u201cI\u2019m legitimately embarrassed by how happy this makes me,\u201d Rogen said.
Winners list: In a competitive year, \u201cThe Pitt\u201d took home the best drama series award while star Noah Wyle won best actor in a drama. \u201cAdolescence\u201d took home six trophies including best limited series, and Jean Smart won her fourth leading actress in a comedy award for HBO\u2019s \u201cHacks\u201d.
