Week 8 on The Block<\/a> means a lot has already been done, but a lot is still left to do… which explains why everyone’s woken up rather tired and cranky!<\/p>\n

The good news for us is that perhaps that will mean a little more bite to this week’s Open for Inspections?<\/p>\n

Britt and Taz<\/a> have a new game plan, \ufeffconspiring that it is their chance each week to convince Australia why they should not buy their competitors’ houses over their’s.<\/p>\n

And well, they’re really hammering it home.<\/p>\n

\ufeffThe teams technically have two spaces to complete, and they’re moving onto the guest suites \u2013 which include a bedroom and an ensuite.<\/p>\n

Baristas Tina and Shayla have awarded them for their timber ceiling and island bench.<\/p>\n

Today, Emma<\/a> is off for a midwife appointment and the long solo drive is a good opportunity to let a bit of emotion out.<\/p>\n

While she’s pretty happy-go-lucky most of the time, the tears are flowing\ufeff over just how much work there is to do.<\/p>\n

A joint Kitchen Week win means a joint MG Getaway for House 3 and House 5.<\/p>\n

\ufeffOf course, Scott Cam<\/a> has a front row seat to it over dinner.<\/p>\n

“I feel that I’m sitting with the winners of The Block,” he says.<\/p>\n

\ufeffHe also gives away a potentially game-winning detail that Robby and Mat and Britt and Taz vow to keep secret: the teams can vote for themselves during the Domain Buyers Jury Challenge.<\/p>\n

Last year, Kristian and Mimi didn’t \u2013 and they lost by one point.\ufeff<\/p>\n

Back at Chumps dinner, there is also gossip flowing.<\/p>\n

Earlier that day, \ufeffSonny and Alicia pulled the boys aside for a sneaky chat and delivered a rather bold ultimatum: tell them the details of their wine cellar or have it brought up in front of everybody at a body corp meeting.<\/p>\n

Robby and Mat don’t quite trust their motives and Sonny and Alicia are surprised that the boys seem defensive.<\/p>\n

So, chumps dinner is all about \ufeffhow they go about requesting an audit from House 5 to check everything’s fair and square.<\/p>\n

Ben and Can agree that they need to see House 5 aren’t getting any kind of special treatment.<\/p>\n

However, Han’s not super keen on rocking the boat which really frustrates Sonny and Alicia.<\/p>\n

She says she’s here not for the chance to win a lot of money, but because she loves doing it\ufeff.<\/p>\n

“Be honest… you’re as competitive as f–king anyone,” Sonny replies, adding that right now they all “look like mugs”.<\/p>\n

Despite so much passion from House 4, Ben clocks that they don’t seem overly keen to be the ones to actually call the meeting.<\/p>\n

He doesn’t yet know Sonny and Alicia are playing both sides, but they’re very happy when Ben says he can organise it.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, the winners arrive back from their night away to an immediate chat at the caravans.<\/p>\n
