Video previews ending song “Thankful” by Sizuk<\/a><\/p>\n

Happinet<\/a> revealed the streaming details and second promotional video for the television anime<\/a> of Kuzushiro<\/a>‘s Egao no Taenai Shokuba Desu. (A Mangaka’s Weirdly Wonderful Workplace<\/a>) manga on Monday. The video previews the ending theme song “Thankful” by Sizuk<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The anime will stream on the DMM TV<\/a>, Lemino<\/a>, U-NEXT<\/a>, Anime Times<\/a>, and Anime H\u014ddai<\/a> services in Japan on October 6 at 10:30 p.m. JST.<\/p>\n

The anime will debut on October 6 on the AT-X<\/a> channel at 9:30 p.m. JST, on Tokyo MX<\/a> at 10:00 p.m. JST, and on BS Asahi<\/a> at 11:24 p.m. JST. The anime will then air on Iwate Menkoi TV<\/a> on October 12. <\/p>\n

The anime stars:\n<\/p>\n

Kaoru Suzuki<\/a> (DIVE!!<\/a>, My Roommate is a Cat<\/a>) is directing the anime at Voil<\/a>. Mio Inoue<\/a> (My Awkward Senpai<\/a>, Slow Start<\/a>) is in charge of series scripts, Kana Miyai<\/a> (Beyblade Burst QuadStrike<\/a>, Hybrid x Heart Magias Academy Ataraxia<\/a>) is designing the characters, and Ry\u014d Tanaka<\/a> (Solo Leveling<\/a>, Thermae Romae Novae<\/a>, Acro Trip<\/a>) is the sound director. Kei Haneoka<\/a> (Kono Oto Tomare!: Sounds of Life<\/a>, Kaguya-sama: Love is War<\/a>) and Hironori Doi<\/a> (Umineko When They Cry<\/a> music staff) are composing the music, and Pony Canyon<\/a> is in charge of music production. HoneyWorks<\/a> and HaKoniwalily<\/a> will perform the anime’s opening theme song “Zettai Sh\u014dsan” (Absolute Praise).<\/p>\n

The working girls manga centers on Nana Futami, a rookie sh\u014djo<\/a> manga artist who is supported by her female editor Kaede Sat\u014d and her assistant Mizuki Hazama. Even though Nana sometimes suffers from intense delusions due to (what she tells herself is) an occupational illness, she keeps working day-to-day with the help of those around her.<\/p>\n

Kuzushiro (Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san<\/a>, Living With My Brother’s Wife<\/a>) first launched the manga as a one-shot in Kodansha<\/a>‘s Kiss<\/a> magazine in February 2019, and started its serialization in Kodansha’s Comic Days<\/a> app and website in May 2019. Kodansha will publish the manga’s 13th compiled book volume on September 19.<\/p>\n
