{"id":145149,"date":"2025-09-15T14:41:07","date_gmt":"2025-09-15T14:41:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/145149\/"},"modified":"2025-09-15T14:41:07","modified_gmt":"2025-09-15T14:41:07","slug":"mclaren-announces-engine-oil-giant-as-official-f1-supplier","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/145149\/","title":{"rendered":"McLaren announces engine oil giant as official F1 supplier"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?client=safari&amp;rls=en&amp;q=mclaren+motorsport+week&amp;ie=UTF-8&amp;oe=UTF-8\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">McLaren<\/a> has announced engine oil giant Motul as an Official Supplier to its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorsportweek.com\/series\/single-seater\/formula-1\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Formula 1<\/a> team from the 2026 season onwards.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mclaren.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Woking-based squad<\/a> has added the French brand as its provider of what it calls \u201chigh-performance lubricants\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Motul already has a large portfolio of its own, having been established in 1853 and gained a reputation as one of the top companies in its respective field.<\/p>\n<p>It is a new brand added to an ever-growing list of partners and suppliers for the McLaren F1 outfit, having recently confirmed banking giants Mastercard as its title sponsor.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, Nick Martin, Co-Chief Commercial Officer, McLaren Racing, said:\u00a0\u201cWe are delighted to welcome Motul to the McLaren Formula 1 Team. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cMotul has a proud history of innovation and technical excellence, attributes that closely mirror our own legacy.
