He\u2019s fresh off a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bjpenn.com\/mma-news\/michael-page\/pros-react-after-michael-page-defeats-jared-cannonier-at-ufc-319\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">unanimous decision victory over Jared Cannonier<\/a> at UFC 319 back in August.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMVP\u201d wants to get back inside the Octagon one more time before 2025 comes to a close. The problem is, Page can\u2019t seem to get a willing dance partner. Prior to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/totalkombat_\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Total Kombat<\/a> event, Page claimed he called for a showdown with the unbeaten Michael Morales, but he hasn\u2019t heard anything back (via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mmafighting.com\/ufc\/403635\/michael-venom-page-reveals-he-asked-to-face-michael-morales-after-missing-out-on-carlos-prates-fight\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">MMAFighting<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI actually asked for an undefeated fighter, I\u2019m just going to start taking out everybody \u2014 Michael Morales, he\u2019s like 18-0,\u201d Page said ahead of the Total Kombat event he\u2019s promoting in his native England. \u201cAgain, just silence.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI thought it would be perfect. Me fight him and then I fight the winner of Leon and Prates hopefully in the U.K.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Page even said he had been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bjpenn.com\/mma-news\/michael-page\/michael-page-open-to-facing-fellow-ufc-319-winner-thats-a-great-fight\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">pounding the table to fight Carlos Prates<\/a>, but the UFC brass appeared to have other ideas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI mentioned, I\u2019m happy to fight Prates, it was no phone call, no nothing. Then all of a sudden, he\u2019s got a fight. I\u2019m in a bit of a weird area at the moment. You may start to see me call out a lot of people just to try and make something happen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Page believes he\u2019s in a spot where he was initially used as a gatekeeper until he started defeating most of his opponents. While the former Bellator star would like to fight in the United Kingdom, he doesn\u2019t mind competing beforehand.
