They competed against a strong field that included William &amp; Mary, East Carolina, Richmond, Pennsylvania, and James Madison. The tournament was hosted at William &amp; Mary University.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The highlight of the weekend came from <a href=\"https:\/\/gousfbulls.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/sienna-leeson\/15928\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"15928\" target=\"_blank\">Sienna Leeson<\/a>, who captured her singles draw title with a dominant run. She won her first match against Novak from Richmond 6-4 2-6 16-14, then against Saveljic from JMU 6-1 6-0. She made an impressive comeback in her finals match against JMU&#8217;s Reitmann 3-6 6-0 10-7 to snag the title.<\/p>\n<p>USF also saw singles performances from <a href=\"https:\/\/gousfbulls.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/josefine-falster\/15927\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"15927\" target=\"_blank\">Josefine Falster<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/gousfbulls.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/charlotte-ruud\/15931\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"15931\" target=\"_blank\">Charlotte Ruud<\/a>, who both made it to the final in their respective brackets. Falster beat Lee from Richmond 6-0 6-1, and then won against Pennsylania&#8217;s Saw 7-6(5) 6-4 to get her to the final, where she lost to Williams from JMU 6-4 6-3.<\/p>\n<p>Ruud won against Larsson of William and Mary 6-1 6-2, then Hoffman of JMU 4-6 6-2 10-8 to take her to the final match. She then fell short to\u00a0Davis from William and Mary 6-3 6-1.<\/p>\n<p>Adding to the success, <a href=\"https:\/\/gousfbulls.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/margherita-marcon\/15929\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"15929\" target=\"_blank\">Margherita Marcon<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/gousfbulls.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/francesca-miglio\/15936\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"15936\" target=\"_blank\">Francesca Miglio<\/a> battled through consolation to secure back draw titles in singles, showcasing the teams resilience and depth.<\/p>\n<p>Marcon took a win over Webber from Richmond in consolation 6-3 6-4 and then claimed her back draw title against William and Mary&#8217;s Debnam 6-2 7-6(4). Miglio won her first consolation match against Urata of Pennsylvania 6-4 6-3, which was also the transfer junior&#8217;s first win as a Bull.\u00a0She then won\u00a0the back draw title 6-4 6-3 against Novak from Richmond.<\/p>\n<p>In doubles, Marcon and freshman Amelia Drukerova placed 3rd in their doubles draw, beating Pell\/Debnam of William and Mary 6-2. It was freshman Drukerova&#8217;s first Bull and collegiate win. The pair then falling short to\u00a0Munteanu\/Reitmann from JMU. They battled for third place against Auerswald\/Jeromin from ECU, winning 6-2.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Falster and Vargas took home the back draw title in doubles, after losing to Wang\/Vendula of Pennsylvania 2-6, then beating Pavlenko\/Savekova 6-4 to win the consolation final.<\/p>\n<p>Leeson and Ruud capped off the tournament by winning the back draw title in doubles.
