A male childcare worker indecently touched two young girls in his care at separate childcare centres in the Perth metropolitan area, a court has heard.<\/p>\n

Robert David Reti is on trial in the Perth District Court on two counts of indecent dealing with a child under 13 years at the two centres in 2023.<\/p>\n
The court heard a four-year old girl who Mr Reti allegedly touched indecently told her mother in 2023 what had happened to her.<\/p>\n
Prosecutor Kathryn Kraus said the girl told her mother she had been in her underwear when the alleged incident happened.<\/p>\n
The preschooler said her new friend, whom she knew as “Rob” had “tickled her” with his penis.<\/p>\n

Mr Reti, 39, is also charged with indecently dealing with a six-year-old who alleges he touched her when she was in after school care.<\/p>\n
Ms Kraus said the girl’s account was that she was sitting on his lap when the alleged incident happened.<\/p>\n
She told police it also happened on a second occasion, the court heard.<\/p>\n
Mr Reti’s lawyer Hamish Glenister said his client “denies ever dealing with either of these children in an indecent manner.”<\/p>\n
Mr Glenister said Mr Reti would give evidence and say “he did not indecently deal with these children”.<\/p>\n
He said the childcare centres were busy, with other adults present and the claims were “implausible” and “do not make sense”.<\/p>\n
