With his future at super middleweight up in the air off the back of his spectacular debut, Terence Crawford has been warned about his chances against a likely next challenger.<\/p>\n

Making his first walk at 168lbs over the weekend, Terence Crawford<\/a> won undisputed gold from the get-go, turning in a decision win over Canelo Alvarez<\/a> in the pair\u2019s blockbuster showdown in \u2018Sin City\u2019.<\/p>\n

And landing career win number 42 with his shutout triumph, Crawford has been lined up for a whole host of potential fights.<\/p>\n

However, according to a veteran promoter, the Nebraska native would likely find himself up against it if pitted against an unbeaten British prospect.<\/p>\n

Initially most tied to a title charge against Canelo if the Jalisco native prevailed over the weekend, unbeaten Slough native Hamzah Sheeraz has been touted by many in the boxing scene as the future of the super middleweight limit.<\/p>\n

Tipped to give Canelo a massive task to overcome, given his devastating knockout win over common opponent Edgar Berlanga this summer, Sheeraz has now been tipped to bring a \u201ctough\u201d title charge to the newly minted Crawford if offered the opportunity.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s a tough fight [Terence Crawford vs. Hamzah Sheeraz],\u201d Frank Warren told Box Nation. \u201cI think it\u2019s a good fight \u2014 the thing about Hamzah is he\u2019s young, he\u2019s not a shot fighter. <\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019d go in [to the fight with Crawford] as an underdog, but I\u2019d give him a good shot,\u201d Warren continued. \u201cHe can punch, and you see what he did in his last fight [against Berlanga]. If he fights like he did in his last fight, he\u2019d give him (Crawford) a tough time. It\u2019s a really, really good fight.\u201d<\/p>\n

And while Canelo\u2019s future in the sport has received a new update<\/a> in the form of a potential retirement tour, Crawford firmly has the boxing world in his grasp, according to an iconic Hall of Famer.<\/p>\n

Roy Jones Jr. backs Terence Crawford to end career amongst boxing icons<\/p>\n

Turning in his third undisputed title fight win in another division over the weekend, Crawford was praised to the highest degree by former world champion icon Roy Jones Jr.<\/a> \u2014 who the Omaha native admitted is his all-time favorite fighter<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And as far as Pensacola star Jones Jr. is concerned, Crawford will likely go untouched throughout the remainder of his stellar career<\/a> in the ring.<\/p>\n
