claiming 16 of a possible 24 player points in the final eight games – the versatile star put behind him several injury-ravaged seasons to deliver his best to date with 23 appearances at fullback, five-eighth and centre.

Brimson (27 points) finished ahead of Tino Fa’asuamaleaui (20), Jayden Campbell (15) and Jaimin Jolliffe (15) on the final tally and is now firmly in the mix to be called up for England in the upcoming Ashes Test series after pledging his allegiance to the Three Lions earlier this year.

In the NRLW, Jess Elliston earned her second player of the year title after her commanding performance up front – currently the top forward in the competition for run metres and post contact metres – edging out Georgia Hale and Shaylee Bent who finished closely behind the Origin and Jillaroos star in the women’s tally.

Elliston also was her squad’s pick of the season bestowing her the players’ player honour, whilst Jaimin Jolliffe was judged by his peers to earn the NRL team’s recognition.

In other football awards, Campbell impressed the Legion as the Members’ MVP for a second-straight year; meanwhile, the Titans fan base also credited young gun Lily Kolc for her breakout season at dummy-half to claim her first MVP title.

Train-and-triallist turned regular first grader Josh Patston took home the NRL rookie of the year after the Hostplus Cup journeyman took his chance to debut with both hands, as did Ivana Lolesio who was forced to wait a year for her NRLW call-up due to a knee injury, but wasted no time on the field impressing in her first season.

A new award category was also introduced in 2025 to acknowledge the players who continually go above and beyond each week with never-say-die attitudes – Beau Fermor (NRL) and Shaylee Bent (NRLW) recognised as the effort players of the year.

2025 Gold Coast Titans Award Winners

Outstanding Achievement Award: Tony McDonald
Wellbeing &
