There, Jenna started dancing at a local performing arts studio with her two older sisters.\n<\/p>\n “She’s always been a little performer; a little drama queen,” Tammy told the Daily Herald. “That was something we saw in her at a very early age.”\n<\/p>\n Her mom went on to say that Jenna’s tendency to do “things the way she wants to do them” is one of the reasons her daughter is so successful. Stacy even served as her younger sisters’ company director when they were younger, per the Daily Herald. Jenna also competed on the show and made it farther than her two sisters.\n<\/p>\n “It was probably the best scenario I could ever ask for,” Tammy told the publication of the sisters’ shared passion. “And they’re extremely close. It’s been such a positive thing in every way.”\n<\/p>\n Her three brothers, however, don’t seem to have inherited the dancing gene. Jenna told Access Hollywood<\/a> that she loved the “family affair” of the show and how it allowed her to spend more time with her sister and her niece.\n<\/p>\n “When I figured out she was my mentor, I was just so excited,” Hailey shared in the September 2018 interview. “‘Cause I could just act normal in front of her.”\n<\/p>\n However, Jenna did admit that she was surprisingly tough on her niece because she expected “a lot” out of her. “It’s just because I know what she can do,” the professional dancer explained. “I’m literally her biggest fan, so I think I was just trying to push her.”\n<\/p>\n She continued, “But honestly, I would sit back and watch her dance on this stage at 12 years old, I’m like, ‘What is your life?’ It’s incredible.
