NBL expert Damon Lowery has made not one, but two bold calls on who he believes will and won\u2019t make this season\u2019s All-NBL First Team.<\/p>\n

During Monday\u2019s episode of NBL Overtime, Lowery somewhat controversially left out both Adelaide\u2019s Bryce Cotton and Sydney\u2019s Kendric Davis, last season\u2019s MVP and MVP Runner-Up.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not like I said there\u2019s going to be no Christmas this year, [in my opinion] Bryce doesn\u2019t have to make every single All-NBL First Team,\u201d Lowery said.<\/p>\n

\u201cLook, he\u2019s going to have some absolutely dominant performances and let everyone know that he\u2019s still Bryce Cotton.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut with all that talent in Adelaide, will he still be able to put up those MVP-type numbers? I say no.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, he will have games of 28 [points], 38 and he might even drop a 50, but over the course of the season, there\u2019s too much depth in their [Adelaide\u2019s] scoring department, so Bryce isn\u2019t a one-man show.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor that reason, I\u2019ve got other guys in my All-NBL First Team.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

That aforementioned All-NBL First Team projection includes Sydney\u2019s Xavier Cooks, New Zealand\u2019s Izaiah Brockington, Tasmania\u2019s Bryce Hamilton, Perth\u2019s Jo-Lual Acuil Jr. and Illawarra\u2019s Tyler Harvey.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey [the Kings] are better all-around, and with Tim Soares at the five, it\u2019ll allow Xav to play more at the four, and the last time that happened, he was the League MVP,\u201d Lowery said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThen I\u2019m going Izaiah \u2018Buckington\u2019, Bryce Hamilton, JLA and the defending champion, Tyler \u2018The Creator\u2019 Harvey.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lowery leaned further into this call, saying Brockington would average 25 points a game in NBL26.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn New Zealand, the fans have got to start making the Izaiah Buckington shirts now, because no one is going to turn a blind eye when he\u2019s averaging 25 points a game this season,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cLast year, KD got 25 a game and Bryce had 28, so I can\u2019t see any reason that Brockington doesn\u2019t average 25.\u201d<\/p>\n
