It was a little below the national average of $207.85.

SPF products were used by 84.6 per cent, spending $109.77, again below the nationwide average of $128.56.

Nearly half of us also invest in supplements such as collagen and vitamins — $183.41 versus $227.31 nationwide — while makeup, facials and hair removal remained core beauty routines.

High-cost treatments were less common but skin volumisation and rejuvenation treatments — with a $512.11 annual spend — stood out, with WA residents spending more than any other state and well above the national average of $425.13.

Cosmetic tattooing (14.5 per cent v 12.9 per cent) and laser/IPL treatments (12.8 per cent v 18.4 per cent) were also popular, while smaller groups opted for body treatments, tanning and longevity therapies.

In general, West Aussies focused heavily on everyday skincare and self-care routines, with smaller groups investing in premium procedures.

Spending tended to align with or fall below national averages for most treatments, showing a careful balance between routine maintenance and occasional high-cost treatments.

Confidence, ageing and relaxation were named as the biggest motivators behind beauty choices.

[5
64,63,99,1625,45
0":"post-149370","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-business","8":"tag-au","9":"tag-australia","10":"tag-business","11":"tag-lifestyle","12":"tag-wa-news
["GET
