Tim Tszyu<\/a> has confirmed he will “restructure” his team after suffering three losses in his past four fights – but is adamant his boxing<\/a> career is not ever yet.<\/p>\n

The 30-year-old last fought against Sebastian Fundora in mid-July, where he called it quits after seven rounds against the towering American<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It was the second time Tszyu had lost against Fundora, while the other blemish on his record came at the hands of Russian fighter Bakhram Murtazaliev in October 2024<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The second-generation star found himself at a career crossroads following the second Fundora fight and many were calling for Tszyu to make changes.<\/p>\n

The most vocal of those calls came from Australian legend Jeff Fenech<\/a>, who has been critical of those who have been in Tszyu’s corner over the past two years.<\/p>\n

Fenech told Wide World of Sports after his most recent fight that Tszyu’s talents were being “wasted” and described his team as “clowns” in an explosive interview<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And in a social media post on Wednesday night, the former world champ confirmed that he would be making some changes to bring out a “smarter” version of himself.<\/p>\n

“I wanted to make an official statement before it goes out to the public,” Tszyu said.<\/p>\n

“Since my last fight, I’ve had time to reflect and I can feel that fire still burning inside me.I believe this next part of my journey will be my best yet.<\/p>\n

“A more mature, smarter, and patient version of Tim Tszyu.<\/p>\n

“To reach the next level, I’ve decided to restructure my team and bring in some new faces to support me on this next chapter.<\/p>\n

“I’ll share more details soon but I wanted my supporters to hear it from me first.<\/p>\n

“The best is yet to come.”<\/p>\n

At this stage, what the changes to Tszyu’s camp entail are unclear.<\/p>\n
