The Roosters have reportedly contacted star forward Victor Radley\u2019s management and indicated they would like him to find another club in the NRL or the Super League, as they move to cut ties with the England international.<\/p>\n

According to <\/a>The Sydney Morning Herald<\/a>, the Roosters are genuinely considering the possibility of offloading Radley, who played in the club\u2019s premiership wins in 2018 and 2019, to another club.<\/p>\n

Alleged text messages between Radley and ex-teammate Brandon Smith have been revealed, which are part of police evidence into Smith\u2019s looming charge on drug supply<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Radley has not been charged and there is no suggestion he obtained or took illegal drugs.<\/p>\n

Radley is under contract with the Roosters for a further two seasons until the end of 2027.<\/p>\n

His contract is worth a reported $700,000 per season.<\/p>\n

Roosters chairman Nick Politis has been overseas on a business trip and is due back in Sydney on Thursday.<\/p>\n

According to the report, the Roosters are considering their legal options and the terms and conditions of Radley\u2019s contract as they look to part ways with the 27-year-old.<\/p>\n

Radley\u2019s situation was discussed on NRL 360 on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese text messages have come to light over the past 48 hours,\u201d Michael Carayannis said on Fox League\u2019s NRL 360.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s my understanding the Roosters hierarchy are of the belief that Victor probably didn\u2019t disclose everything that occurred a couple of weeks ago when the story originally broke.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are definitely rumblings within the Roosters camp that Victor Radley may have played his last game for the club.\u201d<\/p>\n

The content was described as \u201ca surprise\u201d to the club.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s gonna be hard to sack him, because he hasn\u2019t been charged,\u201d Braith Anasta said.<\/p>\n

Carayannis replied: \u201cWhether or not they\u2019ll have cause to sack him, that\u2019s the (key) point.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like there\u2019ll be a parting of the ways, they\u2019ll work out some sort of agreement or arrangement. There\u2019s definitely a push within the Roosters\u2019 ranks that Victor won\u2019t play for them again.\u201d<\/p>\n

Carayannis suggested Radley could head to the Super League as a marquee player next year because he would not count as an import.<\/p>\n

He does not expect any of the other Roosters players who were on the trip with Radley and Smith to leave.<\/p>\n
