Hollywood star Jai Courtney<\/a> is the latest Aussie to join Yellowstone<\/a>‘s highly-anticipated Beth and Rip spinoff series<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 39-year-old, \ufeffbest known for his film roles in Suicide Squad, Terminator Genisys and the Divergent trilogy, will throw on a cowboy hat for the sequel currently titled The Dutton Ranch.<\/p>\n

Courtney joins Kelly Reilly<\/a> and Cole Hauser<\/a> as they reprise their roles as Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler.<\/p>\n

Courntey also joins fellow Aussie Finn Little, 19, who earlier this month confirmed his return as the duo’s ‘adopted’ son Carter<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to Variety<\/a>, Courtney will play “an imposing, unpredictable ranch foreman” named Rob-Will in the series.<\/p>\n

The upcoming Paramount+ spinoff will \ufeffpick up with Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler trying to hold on to the 7,000 acre ranch they fought so hard for.<\/p>\n

Reported by Deadline<\/a> in August, the \ufeffseries has cast five-time Oscar nominee Annette Bening in a lead role.<\/p>\n

The 67-year-old will play Beulah Jackson, who is described as a “powerful, cunning and charming head of a major ranch in Texas”.<\/p>\n

Whether she will be friend or foe to Yellowstone’s fan favourites remains to be seen.\ufeff<\/p>\n

Deadline<\/a> first confirmed the spinoff in December 2024, stating that it would follow\ufeff the same present-day time line as the original series, which followed Kevin Costner’s John Dutton III and his family battle to keep control of their ranch.<\/p>\n

Following the series’ conclusion, Hauser expressed excitement at the possibility of returning as his beloved character Rip in the future.<\/p>\n

“Hopefully, we can continue to get in people’s living rooms and entertain them the way we have over the last seven years,” he told PEOPLE<\/a>.<\/p>\n

While the original family ranch is no more, creator Taylor Sheridan’s universe is only getting bigger and bigger.<\/p>\n

Michelle Pfiffer will lead a Paramount+ offshoot titled The Madison while Luke Grimes reprises his role as Kayce Dutton in Y: Marshals<\/a>,\ufeff expected to hit screens in 2026, for American network CBS.<\/p>\n

Two additional projects, titled 1944 and 6666, were previously announced as being in development.\ufeff<\/p>\n
