Robert Irwin Reveals His Surprising Preparation for ‘Dancing with the Stars’ (Exclusive)<\/p>\n
Robert Irwin<\/a>\u00a0isn\u2019t jiving around his lack of Dancing With the Stars<\/a> prep.<\/p>\n In fact, the wildlife conservationist shared that he really didn\u2019t put his best foot forward before walking into practice with partner Witney Carson.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is how the conversation went,” Robert, 21, exclusively told E! News\u00a0correspondent Will Marfuggi\u00a0at the Dancing With the Stars\u00a0premiere Sept. 16. \u201cWitney\u2019s like, \u2018So you\u2019ve known for like four months you\u2019re gonna do this show? What have you done to prepare?\u2019 And I said, \u2018Nothing!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n But while he may not have prepared physically, Robert admitted knew some of what was to come after watching his sister Bindi Irwin\u00a0compete\u2014and win it all\u2014with partner Derek Hough during season 21 in 2015. \u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cI feel like I had a good idea of what this show was about coming into it, cause my sister had done it,\u201d Robert said. \u201cBut it blew away every single expectation I ever had. And that\u2019s thanks to this incredible team, amazing cast, and honestly above all, the most incredible dance partner ever. 10 years in the making, here we are.
