Before we dive into how much these faster fixed-line NBN plans<\/a> cost and some of the best deals going around, here’s a quick look at what’s changed.<\/p>\n NBN Co, and in turn providers, have upgraded speeds across NBN 100, NBN 250 and NBN 1000:<\/p>\n Home Fast (NBN 100) has jumped from 100\/20Mbps to 500\/50Mbps, making it five times faster. This will be the new NBN 500<\/a> speed tier.Home Superfast (NBN 250) has jumped from 250\/25Mbps to a speedy 750\/50Mbps. This is the new NBN 750 speed tier.Home Ultrafast (NBN 1000) doubles its upload speed, reaching up to 1000\/100Mbps.<\/p>\n There’s now a new NBN 2000 speed tier<\/a> as well, offering download speeds up to 2000Mbps and upload speeds of 100\u2013200Mbps, depending on your connection type.<\/p>\n You can get these speeds if you have a Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) or Hybrid Fibre Coaxial (HFC) NBN connection.
