Raiders<\/a> forward Corey Horsburgh admits there is a “grey area” when it comes to the decision to sin bin teammate Hudson Young last weekend.<\/p>\n

Young was penalised and given his marching orders<\/a> by referee Ashley Klein for starting a melee with Reece Walsh, which resulted in the Broncos fullback headbutting his rival<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The back-rower walked up to Walsh after an error and started to mouth off, which Klein claimed instigated the incident and led to his 10-minute dismissal from the field.<\/p>\n

The overwhelming reaction from those within rugby league has been that Klein made the wrong decision and that Young shouldn’t have been penalised at all.<\/p>\n

Speaking to media ahead of Canberra’s semi final against Cronulla, cult hero Horsburgh was asked whether he saw any issue with Young’s antics.<\/p>\n

His response was brutally and hilariously honest. <\/p>\n

“I don’t think so, it’s just being a competitor,” Horsburgh said.<\/p>\n

“I’d be sent off every week if that was a rule, so hopefully that’s not a rule now.<\/p>\n

“I don’t think he did anything wrong, in my opinion.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“If you make an error, normally someone says something to you. I guess you just have to not walk at people or whatever the case is. I think that’s a bit of a grey area.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“It was a one-off I reckon, I don’t think that would happen again.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

Horsburgh has been known to fire up on the field from time to time, but has enjoyed a stellar season with the Green Machine and cut out a lot of the ill-discipline in his game.<\/p>\n

Raiders skipper Joseph Tapine<\/a>, who was in the thick of things when Young was binned and had to front media post-game, also admitted he still wasn’t sure about the call.<\/p>\n

“Nah, no clarification … I think we’ll just probably avoid the situation,” he said.<\/p>\n

“We don’t have that flip the coin kind of thing, so just [need to] be a bit more clean.”<\/p>\n

Canberra will attempt to keep their premiership hopes alive at their home turf of GIO Stadium when they face the Sharks.<\/p>\n
