Darren Till is not hiding how he would approach a potential boxing match against the polarizing Jake Paul.<\/p>\n
The ex-UFC star has been making waves in the ring since exiting mixed martial arts\u2019 leading promotion in early 2023 and beginning a new chapter in his career.<\/p>\n
Till<\/a> has competed three times as a professional boxer this year, starting with his knockout victory over former Bellator fighter Anthony Taylor in January. After outpointing Darren Stewart in his second Misfits Boxing match, Till brutally knocked out Luke Rockhold at Misfits 22<\/a> in August.<\/p>\n Having gotten past three fellow MMA veterans to date, \u2018The Gorilla\u2019 has his sights set on tougher assignments down the line, and that includes a high-profile showdown against \u2018The Problem Child\u2019.<\/p>\n Darren Till tells Jake Paul exactly how he would beat him<\/p>\n The former Disney star has made a habit out of defeating opponents from an MMA background. Before Paul beat Mike Tyson in their Netflix main event<\/a> last November, he netted victories over the likes of Nate Diaz, Anderson Silva, Tyron Woodley, and Ben Askren.<\/p>\n Till plans to challenge Paul<\/a> and serve as his latest opponent who made his name in the cage. Should that happen, the 32-year-old is confident that he can do what the rest could not inside the ring.<\/p>\n \u2018The Gorilla\u2019 is so confident, in fact, that he practically divulged his gameplan during a recent appearance on Demetrious Johnson\u2019s MightyCast show.<\/p>\n \u201cI just know when I come up against guys like Tommy (Fury) and Jake, even if Jake is a bit more prepared, just the willingness to win and stuff like that, time and pressure, feinting \u2014 they ain\u2019t got that in their locker,\u201d Paul said.<\/p>\n \u201cSome of these guys probably move better as a boxer, but you know when I\u2019m twitching on you, I\u2019m taking all your breath away and I\u2019m twitching and I\u2019m moving, I\u2019m probably moving a little bit like \u2014 not like a boxer, more like MMA. That\u2019s different, mate. You don\u2019t know where the shots are coming from.<\/p>\n \u201cAll these pro boxers I\u2019ve sparred in the gym, they always say to me, \u2018I know your left is coming but I don\u2019t know where it\u2019s coming from.\u2019 It\u2019s like, yeah, because I\u2019m setting it up and I\u2019m twitching,\u201d Till added.<\/p>\n \u201cI just know when I come up against your Tommys and your Jakes, that\u2019s going to be the edge for me. I\u2019m probably giving my gameplan away but they\u2019re not even going to be able to stop it, so it doesn\u2019t even f\u2014- matter.\u201d<\/p>\n Darren Till has caught the attention of former UFC peer Yoel Romero<\/p>\n While Paul has his focus on Gervonta Davis, Till will likely need to look at other avenues for his next fight. Fortunately, the Scouser is not short on options.<\/p>\n As well as a long-standing feud with Carl Froch marking a possible matchup, Till is reportedly in talks to box Andrew Tate<\/a> under the Misfits banner. And just days on from that revelation, another path has seemingly opened up for \u2018The Gorilla\u2019.<\/p>\n
