Netflix has recently gotten into the fight game but only for the biggest and most historic boxing bouts.<\/p>\n

It was recently revealed why the UFC and Netflix didn\u2019t come to an agreement<\/a> on a broadcast deal before the MMA leader joined up with Paramount.<\/p>\n

The streaming service may now be a major player in live sports, but it\u2019s only interested in fights that are going to appeal to a mass audience.<\/p>\n

This past weekend, Netflix<\/a> put on their third boxing event, with Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford drawing 41.4 million viewers<\/a> for the undisputed super middleweight fight.<\/p>\n

Here are four fights that could be in contention to receive this kind of treatment.<\/p>\n

However, one rule for this list was to stay away from the names that have already been featured on Netflix, otherwise the entire list would be fighters that have already done it like Jake Paul<\/a> and Mike Tyson<\/a>.<\/p>\n

While this is cheating to some degree because we haven\u2019t attached an opponent, there\u2019s a reason for this.<\/p>\n

There will be several names coming up on this list that if you paired them with Gervonta Davis<\/a>, it would instantly make for a fight that would be in contention for the very top spot.<\/p>\n

Of course, following a slight adjustment to the plans, Davis is set to face Jake Paul<\/a> next time out, which will likely only increase his popularity, though this might be dependent on the result.<\/p>\n

\u2018Tank\u2019 remains one of the biggest names in the sport and while he should be fighting Lamont Roach Jr. next, as his matchup with \u2018The Problem Child\u2019 shows, there are far bigger opportunities out there for him.<\/p>\n

While he\u2019s received criticism in his career, there\u2019s no denying that Shakur Stevenson is incredibly talented.<\/p>\n

He just needs some big name opponents to show this against, and he appears to now have that in Teofimo Lopez<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The two men have been talking about facing each other for some time, with Lopez recently stating that he believes it will take place early on in 2026.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s no denying that it isn\u2019t close to the same scale as the three other fights that Netflix has put on in the past.<\/p>\n

However, as Lopez himself said in an interview with The Ring this past week, this is a matchup that could end up being massively important in years to come.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think we\u2019ve known this since we were signed for Top Rank\u2026 I think we both understand that the winner of this is the leader of the new school.\u201d<\/p>\n

2. Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua<\/p>\n

Anthony Joshua is lining up for \u201cthe last big roll of the dice\u201d<\/a> after returning in a warm-up fight at some point early on in 2026.<\/p>\n

It seems fairly likely that Tyson Fury<\/a> will return to the ring if there\u2019s a big enough fight for him, and this is undoubtedly the biggest matchup to make in the heavyweight division.<\/p>\n

Joshua recently lashed out at Fury<\/a> as fans saw a side to \u2018AJ\u2019 that we often only get small glimpses of.<\/p>\n

If it does finally happen, it may have come too late, but that doesn\u2019t change the fact that it\u2019s been one of the biggest fights in boxing for years.<\/p>\n

1. Ryan Garcia vs Devin Haney 2<\/p>\n

The disaster in Times Square earlier this year where both men did little to inspire excitement and Ryan Garcia<\/a> suffered a shocking loss certainly didn\u2019t help this fight.<\/p>\n

That being said, all it will take is one press conference between these two men to remind fans of what is at stake in this bad blood rematch.<\/p>\n

The build to their first meeting was one of the strangest roads to a fight that we\u2019ve seen in some time, and this only became even more unique following the outcome.<\/p>\n
