Supermarket giant Aldi<\/a> has issued a nationwide recall on a popular dumpling product found to have been contaminated with glass, just two months after an alert for the same issue.<\/p>\n

The warning is for 750g packs of Urban Eats Japanese Style Vegetable Gyoza with best-before dates ranging from April 10, 2027 to June 15 the same year.<\/p>\n

The product has been available at Aldi store in NSW<\/a>, ACT<\/a>, Victoria<\/a>, Queensland<\/a>, South Australia<\/a> and WA<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe recall is due to the presence of foreign matter \u2014 glass,\u201d Food Standards Australia New Zealand said on Friday.<\/p>\n

\u201cConsumers should not eat this product.\u201d<\/p>\n

Shoppers can return their purchase for a full refund, and consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.<\/p>\n

It comes less than two months after Aldi recalled the same product<\/a> over the possible presence of glass.<\/p>\n

Those affected products have a best-before date of March 27, 2027 and were sold in stores across NSW, the ACT, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia and WA.<\/p>\n

In a separate alert issued on Friday, bowls of Fine Food WA\u2019s crunchy brown rice salad were recalled over a Listeria contamination.<\/p>\n

The impacted product, with a use-by date marking of September 22, 2025, has been available at Woolworths stores in WA.<\/p>\n

Consumers have been warned not to eat it, and return it for a refund.<\/p>\n

\u201cListeria monocytogenes may cause severe illness in pregnant women, unborn babies, neonates, the elderly, and immunocompromised individuals,\u201d FSANZ said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe general population can also become ill from consuming food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.\u201d<\/p>\n
