Gigi Hadid celebrated her daughter Khai’s fifth birthday with a sweet photo of them together.In the snap, the mommy-daughter duo wear cowboy-coded outfits with Khai’s long blonde hair in braided pigtails.Hadid also included throwback pictures from her pregnancy.<\/p>\n

It feels like just yesterday when Gigi Hadid<\/a> and Zayn Malik<\/a> announced they welcomed their first child together. But, alas, it wasn’t yesterday, it was five years ago, and a lot has changed since. Hadid has moved on with Bradley Cooper<\/a>, Malik has released two more albums, and their daughter, the adorable little Khai<\/a>, has grown out her luscious blonde hair to impressive lengths.\n<\/p>\n

The model took to her Instagram Story to commemorate her baby girl’s fifth trip around the sun. In one snap, she showed Khai inherited her cowgirl genes: The picture sees Hadid, clad in a camouflage crewneck sweater, dark-wash jeans, brown cowboy boots, and a navy-blue baseball cap over her golden bob, crouching behind Khai in a barn. Khai also took western dressing for a spin in a light-wash denim jacket, matching jeans, brown leather chaps with fringe details, and Barbie-pink cowgirl boots. She matched her footwear to her rubber bands, which tied her cascading tresses into two waist-grazing braids.\n<\/p>\n

“My girl is 5 today,” Hadid wrote. “Happy birthday to my greatest love & gift.”\n<\/p>\n

The Guest in Residence founder followed up the tribute with major throwback pregnancy photos. In the two pics, she poses in undone jeans and a cropped ribbed white tank top, putting her bump on full display. Her hair is styled in a wet-hair look and she glammed up with a dramatic smoky eye. “Khai loading…,” she wrote under one, and “So lucky to be your mama,” she penned under the other.\n<\/p>\n

Hadid had one more sweet photo in the mix: A snap of herself, clad in a white T-shirt and jeans with her hair in a long braided ponytail, holding Khai, who was cheery in green, heart-accented pants and a canary-yellow T-shirt. The photo was taken on October 24, 2023, and just as she does with all the photos she posts of Khai, Hadid obstructed her face to protect her privacy.\n<\/p>\n

Hadid takes any and every opportunity to gush about Khai, often expressing just how much she has changed her life. “She has already given me so much,” she told\u00a0The Sunday Times<\/a>\u00a0in March 2023. “I always wanted to be a mom, but I was never obsessive about it or [thought that] I was\u00a0put on this Earth to be a mom. I\u2019ve always been quite organized, so having Khai at the time that I did was a blessing.
