by the likes of American rapper Doja Cat and Aussie dance group Rufus Du Sol as they bring their tunes out west this November.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">RAC Arena general manager Michael Scott said Perth was no longer an afterthought for international artists.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">\u201cWe\u2019re on the map as a must-play destination,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">\u201cFor local fans, it means access to world-class live music without having to travel interstate, and for the artists, it\u2019s a chance to connect with a passionate audience.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">He said Perth was home to \u201cworld-class music venues, a thriving local music culture, and fans who are incredibly passionate and turn up in huge numbers\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">\u201cMore and more big-name artists are making a point of including Perth in their tours, and it\u2019s a reflection of how much the live entertainment scene here has grown,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">\u201cArtists and promoters are seeing that Perth isn\u2019t just worth the stop, it\u2019s often one of the standout shows on the tour.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">WA Tourism Minister Reece Whitby described the concerts as a \u201cmassive tourism opportunity\u201d and said he looking forward to a summer of musical magic.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">\u201cThese concerts and festivals add vibrancy to our State, putting us on the global stage and strengthening our reputation to become the fastest growing events destination in the South East Asia region,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">\u201cI can\u2019t wait for Optus Stadium and RAC Arena to
