It\u2019s a long way to Perth if you want to rock and roll, but acts like Ed Sheeran, Lewis Capaldi and AC\/DC already have their tickets booked for a sizzling summer in WA.<\/p>\n

Kicking off the festivities on December 4 and 8 is legendary rock band AC\/DC who are set to tear up Perth for their final leg of their international POWER UP Tour.<\/p>\n

American rappers Kendrick Lamar and Doechii will headline Claremont\u2019s Spilt Milk for an epic night of partying on December 7, whilst Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi will hypnotise fans with his powerful vocals at his already sold-out show at RAC Arena on December 17.<\/p>\n

It comes more than two years after the 28-year-old made the heartbreaking decision to cancel his 2023 Australia tour due to his mental health.<\/p>\n

Capaldi \u2014 who made an emotional return to live-performing in June after making a surprise appearance at Glastonbury \u2014 is renowned for his love ballads including Someone You Love, Before You Go and Hold Me While You Wait.<\/p>\n

Festivalgoers will also be treated to a night of partying as global megastars Addison Rae, Kid Cudi and Melbourne DJ Dom Dolla grace the stage to continue the New Years celebrations at Arena Joondalup\u2019s Wildlands Festival on January 3.<\/p>\n

American folk band The Lumineers will touchdown in Perth on January 21, whilst Ed Sheeran will visit WA for the fourth time on January 31st and February 1st as part of his Loop Tour, stunning fans with his guitar in his signature one-man show.<\/p>\n

American pop band One Republic \u2014 celebrated for their 2013 single, Counting Stars \u2014 will also hit the stage on February 18.<\/p>\n

Laneway Festival on Thursday also announced its 2026 lineup, confirming American pop sensation Chappell Roan would be closing the tour at Arena Joondalup on February 15.<\/p>\n

The HOT-TO-GO singer will be joined by a stellar lineup including PinkPantheress, Role Model, Wolf Alice and Wet Leg.<\/p>\n

Noughties popstar Sophie Ellis-Bextor will bring her disco hits to Northbridge\u2019s Ice Cream Factory precinct on February 12, whilst Kiwi pop icon Lorde will dazzle fans at RAC Arena on February 25 as she brings her Ultrasound World Tour closer to home soil.<\/p>\n

Music junkies who can\u2019t wait until summer to get the party started will also be treated by the likes of American rapper Doja Cat and Aussie dance group Rufus Du Sol as they bring their tunes out west this November.<\/p>\n

RAC Arena general manager Michael Scott said Perth was no longer an afterthought for international artists.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re on the map as a must-play destination,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor local fans, it means access to world-class live music without having to travel interstate, and for the artists, it\u2019s a chance to connect with a passionate audience.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said Perth was home to \u201cworld-class music venues, a thriving local music culture, and fans who are incredibly passionate and turn up in huge numbers\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cMore and more big-name artists are making a point of including Perth in their tours, and it\u2019s a reflection of how much the live entertainment scene here has grown,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cArtists and promoters are seeing that Perth isn\u2019t just worth the stop, it\u2019s often one of the standout shows on the tour.\u201d<\/p>\n

Frontier Touring chief executive Dion Brant said Perth locals \u201cdeserved to see their favourite artists.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is not always possible given distance and cost but when we can bring a show the city always embraces us and the fans are always passionate,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

WA Tourism Minister Reece Whitby described the concerts as a \u201cmassive tourism opportunity\u201d and said he looking forward to a summer of musical magic.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese concerts and festivals add vibrancy to our State, putting us on the global stage and strengthening our reputation to become the fastest growing events destination in the South East Asia region,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t wait for Optus Stadium and RAC Arena to come alive this summer as our world-class venues play host to rock \u2018n\u2019 roll legends AC\/DC and global superstars Ed Sheeran and Lewis Capaldi.<\/p>\n
