\u201cThat\u2019s something they\u2019ve got to look at, now. I would be really looking trade-wise at what you can get for Bobby Hill,\u201d Shaw told 3AW on Saturday night. <\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a horrible situation, but he\u2019s probably got good (trade) fodder at the moment \u2014 you could get a couple of draft picks. <\/p>\n
\u201cIt just doesn\u2019t look like it\u2019s working for him down there.\u201d<\/p>\n
However, on the post-match Fox Footy broadcast, the Herald Sun\u2019s Jon Ralph said the Pies weren\u2019t planning on even thinking about dealing Hill, who\u2019s contracted through 2030, this off-season. <\/p>\n
\u201c(The Pies are) very keen to keep Bobby Hill, who\u2019s contracted,\u201d Ralph said on Saturday night. <\/p>\n
\u201cThey\u2019re really thrilled by the fact 0he\u2019s been able to get back to training, but they are understanding of the challenges ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ralph also provided contract updates on a few of Hill\u2019s teammates as the club turns its attention to list turnover and the upcoming player movement period. <\/p>\n
\u201cMason Cox, I think, has played himself into another one-year contract,\u201d Ralph continued. <\/p>\n
\u201cJamie Elliott has been offered two years but has not signed it, and it\u2019s been on the table for quite some time \u2014 clubs like Gold Coast (are) interested. <\/p>\n
\u201cBrody Mihocek has been offered a two-year deal, (but) Melbourne is offering more money and at least two years and a trigger, and maybe three years. <\/p>\n
\u201cSo, there is a time where some of those players might think \u2018I want to cash in\u2019 \u2014 all I would say is not a lot of players leave Collingwood, especially when they\u2019re still in that premiership build.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ralph also confirmed reports that Collingwood had enquired about Carlton dual Coleman medallist Charie Curnow but added that the Pies are strapped for draft capital. <\/p>\n
\u201cThe Pies have asked about Charlie Curnow, but there\u2019s probably not a club out there with less trade collateral to try and get a deal done,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n
\u201cThey have not got a first-rounder this year; they could trade next year or even the next year in advance, but they\u2019re probably less likely to be able to, under AFL rules, trade next year\u2019s pick.
