Alperen Sengun was true to his word and presented Ercan Osmani with his gift<\/p>\n

After the 2025 EuroBasket semifinal win of Turkey over Greece, Alperen Sengun revealed that he had promised his teammate Ercan Osmani a rolex watch if he held Giannis Antetokounmpo below 20 points.<\/p>\n

Almost a week afterward, Sengun delivered his promise. The Houston Rockets<\/a> star posted a photo of him giving the rolex to Osmani on his Instagram with the caption, \u201cPromises kept.\u201d<\/p>\n

Antetokounmpo scored a personal EuroBasket low 12 points (6-13 shots) in the 94 \u2013 68 loss to Turkey in the semifinal. He was averaging 29.8 points in the tournament until that game.<\/p>\n

Osmani dropped a career-high 28 points and was the focal player of Turkey\u2019s defense against Giannis while constant double-teaming and triple-teaming disrupted the action of the \u201cGreek Freak\u201d as the \u201c12 Giant Men\u201d advanced to the Final for the first time in 25 years, following the 2001 EuroBasket<\/p>\n

They lost to Dennis Schroder\u2019s Germany but that silver medal was quite the success and a big step forward for Turkish basketball.<\/p>\n
