Chris Xu<\/a>, Anthony Wright<\/a> and Niels Ratiu<\/a> won their initial singles matches and advanced in the pre-qualifying draw of the ITA All-American Championships on Saturday. Ratiu and Xu also played their first official doubles match of the season together and advanced in the doubles pre-qualifying bracket.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, on the second day of the Carolina Classic in Columbia, S.C., freshman Ian Mayew<\/a> won his singles match and the Tar Heels won a pair of doubles matches. Mayew advanced to Sunday’s singles final, where he will face Max Stenzer of host South Carolina.<\/p>\n
