Seiko has just announced a new Presage Classic Series watch with an upcycled leather Strap and an Edo-inspired design. Featuring a 40.2mm case, 6R55 movement, and an upcycled REGAL leather strap, it\u2019s limited to 3,000 pieces worldwide.<\/p>\n

Seiko<\/a> has just announced a new limited edition<\/a> in its Presage Classic Series. The model comes equipped with a leather strap made entirely from surplus and offcut leather sourced from Regal<\/a>, a longstanding Japanese shoemaker. Only 3,000 individually numbered pieces are being released worldwide. <\/p>\n

As mentioned earlier, the defining feature is the use of upcycled Regal shoe leather for the strap, which is carefully selected and stitched to mimic high-end Japanese loafers. The lining within the strap matches the premium material found inside Regal\u2019s shoes. Beige decorative stitching is also added near the case. <\/p>\n

The dial employs a gradient “Shiracha” brown, and it is a color that has been long-admired during the Edo period for its warm tone. Its soft transition resembles Japanese silk textures and is paired with gold-tone indexes and hands. The stainless steel case is finished in a rich brown tone, shaped with flowing curves, and features three-dimensional bezel detailing. <\/p>\n
