Cox\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>Reese Witherspoon is a world-famous actress and film producer, appearing in and working on dozens of films and TV shows in her 34-year career so far.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Louisiana, largely working in the United States, and marrying two Americans, Witherspoon doesn\u2019t appear to have any obvious connections to north London.<\/p>\n<p>Yet in an interview with the BBC\u2019s The One Show this week, the Oscar-winning star revealed her children support Arsenal.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"666\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/arsenal-v-nottingham-forest-premier-league-4-1.jpg\" alt=\"LONDON, ENGLAND: Riccardo Calafiori of Arsenal during the Premier League match between Arsenal and Nottingham Forest at Emirates Stadium on September 13, 2025. (Photo by Justin Setterfield\/Getty Images)\" class=\"wp-image-342911\" title=\"Oscar-winning actress admits her sons love Arsenal 3\" \/>Photo by Justin Setterfield\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYeah, my sons are huge Arsenal fans,\u201d Witherspoon <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/iplayer\/episode\/m002jlg7\/the-one-show-16092025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">confirmed<\/a>. \u201cThey are so excited about Calafiori.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey love Odegaard, they love Rice, and they love Calafiori. So they really watch it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This isn\u2019t even the first time Witherspoon has mentioned the Gunners on The One Show, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/BBCTheOneShow\/status\/1620138069801172993\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">saying<\/a> in 2023: \u201cIf there\u2019s space (to invest) in Arsenal, all my sons and everybody would be really excited. That\u2019s our favourite team. We watched the game the other day. It was bananas! Cox\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>Witherspoon\u2019s son\u2019s Deacon Phillipe and Tennessee James Toth are 21 and 12 respectively, and they\u2019re clearly bridging that age gap with a love of Arsenal Football Club. Many fans with football-loving siblings can probably relate to that.<\/p>\n<p>Back in the U.S., Witherspoon is an investor in MLS side Nashville SC, and she\u2019s been seen attending their matches with family in the past.
