Six days of fierce competition ended with 51 championship bouts across two rings. Fans saw Junior, Youth and Elite fighters claim titles in both male and female brackets. Rosetta Stone, the official language partner of USA Boxing, presented the day six recap.<\/p>\n<p>Junior Division Highlights<\/p>\n<p>The Junior competition kicked off the finals. Five Junior female bouts opened the action, followed by thirteen Junior male bouts. Among the winners, Yahya Metts from Cincinnati, Ohio, shone bright. Metts secured a 5\u20110 victory in the Junior male 145\u202flb weight class. He celebrated his third tournament win and his first unanimous decision of the week. \u201cSix nationals in a row means a lot,\u201d Metts said. \u201cI bring it back home to my city. I feel good to win this Nationals and I am ready for December.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Youth Division Highlights<\/p>\n<p>Next up, the Youth division delivered ten male bouts and five female bouts. The young athletes fought hard for every point. Their energy set the tone for the Elite matches that followed.<\/p>\n<p>Elite Division Highlights<\/p>\n<p>The Elite division closed the day with eight female bouts and ten male bouts. Sage Rosario from Manhattan, Kansas, captured the Elite female 154\u202flb title with a third\u2011round stoppage. Rosario added a third victory of the week and a second stoppage of the tournament. \u201cThis one was really special to me,\u201d she explained. \u201cI want to join the Elite team and prove I am the best in the country. I will become the greatest female fighter ever.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Elite Male Champion<\/p>\n<p>Edgar Herrera Jr. from Lubbock, Texas, earned the Elite male 110\u202flb championship with a decisive 5\u20110 win. Herrera fought through a recent surgery and a loss in Vegas to claim the title. He earned two unanimous decisions on his way to victory. \u201cI feel fueled up like never before,\u201d Herrera said. \u201cDecember is coming and I will be ready.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s Next for USA Boxing<\/p>\n<p>USA Boxing will host one more national event in 2025: the National Championships in Lubbox, Texas, from December\u202f6 to 13.
