Mikel Arteta was full of praise for one Manchester City player after Arsenal drew 1-1 at the Emirates Stadium.<\/p>\n

Several City stars impressed on Sunday, with Jeremy Doku shining against Arsenal<\/a> among others.<\/p>\n

Gianluigi Donnarumma<\/a> was imperious in between the sticks as he made plenty of saves to keep the visitors in the game for much of the contest.<\/p>\n

Pep Guardiola set up defensively against Arsenal<\/a>, going as far as to deploy a 5-4-1 formation in the second half.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the clash, Mikel Arteta<\/a> would have been expected to lead Arsenal to a victory against Manchester City considering Pep Guardiola\u2019s side had already lost two out of their first four Premier League games.<\/p>\n

However, Declan Rice admitted Manchester City\u2019s tactics were surprising<\/a>, which suggests Guardiola took the hosts by a surprise.<\/p>\n

One man who seemed to understand the Manchester City<\/a> boss\u2019 setup against Arsenal to a tee was Donnarumma, with Mikel Arteta saying via Beanyman Sports: \u201cHe\u2019s so dominant in the box, every ball that is in and around the six-yard box, his timing, the way he executes the box is super efficient.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s very difficult and today, he made some very important contributions not to lose the game.\u201d<\/p>\n

As Mikel Arteta claimed, Donnarumma especially dominated inside the box which nullified Arsenal\u2019s threat from set-pieces against Manchester City.<\/p>\n
