Dillian Whyte will return to action on August 16th, when he competes in a heavyweight bout in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. <\/p>\n

It will be Whyte\u2019s<\/a> first fight since December 2024, as he looks to make it four wins in a row since losing to Tyson Fury<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Whyte will have to do what no other man has done when he faces Moses Itauma<\/a>, who has never been defeated. With a perfect 12-0 record, \u2018The Body Snatcher\u2019 is aiming to spoil the 20-year-old\u2019s streak. <\/p>\n

However, Itauma was not the only fighter that was offered to Whyte for his next fight. <\/p>\n

Whyte has revealed in a recent interview with IFL TV that Itauma was just one of three names that was offered to him for a heavyweight bout. <\/p>\n

\u201cThere were three fighters offered, AJ, Parker, and him [Itauma].\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite Anthony Joshua<\/a> and Joseph Parker<\/a> being significant names in the heavyweight division, it seemingly wasn\u2019t Whyte\u2019s choice to not compete with them. <\/p>\n

Speaking on the New Zealander, Whyte said, \u201cParker was humming and hawing.\u201d Parker is likely to wait for his opportunity to face Oleksandr Usyk<\/a>, as he has made his intentions clear that he wants to face the undisputed champion. <\/p>\n

Parker also recently shot down the idea of a contender matchup with Agit Kabayel.<\/a> <\/p>\n

For Joshua, Whyte said, \u201cAJ had to have an operation on his elbow, and was trying to say, \u2018wait\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although Whyte was tempted to wait for the return of Joshua, he says that getting offered a fight with Itauma \u2018interested\u2019 him. \u201cHe\u2019s young and hungry, and he\u2019s got a lot of knockout power.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

When initially asked about his upcoming meeting with Itauma, Whyte seemingly had a pessimistic outlook on the bout. <\/p>\n

Previewing the fight, Whyte said, \u201cThey [Itauma\u2019s team] believe they can beat me. They believe they got me at the right time. <\/p>\n

\u201cObviously, I haven\u2019t been the most active, ups and downs and stuff. You know, I haven\u2019t had a lot of fights the last few years. So they\u2019re banking on that.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s the next Mike Tyson as they say. I\u2019m just a nobody. I\u2019m just a guy from Brixton\u2026 I\u2019m just cannon fodder basically.\u201d<\/p>\n
